PROUD Card Behaviour Management System
Following feedback from the Parent Survey in November and a recent review of our Behaviour Policy, we are trialling a change to our current behaviour management procedures, specifically relating to the PROUD card. From Monday 2 June, the following will apply if a pupil receives three ticks on their PROUD card:
- They will be sent to Triage, where they will hand in their current PROUD card and be issued a new one.
- A behaviour log will be recorded on ClassCharts by the member of staff.
- The pupil will be issued a breaktime detention.
Pupils will be given two opportunities to attend this detention. If they fail to attend on both occasions, they will be sent to the Learning Hub.
This change is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure our behaviour systems are fair, consistent, and supportive of every child's success. We will be reviewing the impact of this trial and welcome your feedback during the process. Thank you, as always, for your continued support in helping us maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
Summer Concert – Save the Date!
We will be hosting a summer concert at Swanmore College on the evening of Monday 23 June in the Main Hall. There will be performances from the Chamber Choir, Main Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra and Concert Band, as well as some Pop/Rock bands and solo singers and musicians. Please put this date in your diary and look out for further information coming soon!

Leavers' Day – Friday 23 May 2025
Year 11 Leavers' Day is tomorrow, Friday 23 May. All pupils must attend in FULL uniform for their English exam in the morning. If they wish to bring a spare shirt for signing, this needs to be kept in their bag until after the examination. Pupils will not be allowed to sit their GCSE English examination if their shirt is defaced in any way.
Please remember to bring payment for the ice cream van. Lunch and a leaver assembly will take place in the afternoon and pupils will leave site at 2pm.
