Did you know an estimated 1 in 5 pupils in every classroom could be defined as a Young Carer?

Young Carers Action Day is on Wednesday, 12 March and this year's theme is 'Give me a Break'. This is an annual event that raises awareness of the challenges faced by young carers. The day also calls for more support for young carers. 

In light of this, we have decided to support the charity Winchester Young Carers by hosting a non-uniform day at Swanmore College on Wednesday, 12 March for all pupils (no short tops/shorts/skirts please).

We ask that pupils either make a donation of £1 via SCOPAY or bring in £1 cash to donate during tutor.
